Are you a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor looking for your next long-term opportunity? Join a well-established and industry-leading manufacturer in a crucial workshop leadership role. This is a full-time, ongoing position with great stability, excellent team culture, and the chance to be part of a high-performing crew.

About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled maintenance team and oversee all aspects of machinery upkeep, preventative maintenance, and workshop operations. This position is based at a busy manufacturing facility in Crestmead, QLD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily workshop tasks and team members.

  • Prioritise and allocate maintenance jobs to maximise safety and production output.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on cable manufacturing machinery (extruders, stranders, drawing machines, etc.).

  • Provide hands-on support with repairs and machinery installation as needed.

  • Liaise with contractors, order parts, and manage maintenance consumables.

  • Keep maintenance systems (AMPRO) updated and provide relevant reporting.

  • Maintain high WHS standards and ensure compliance with all OH&S procedures.

  • Carry out general site and building maintenance tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Technician role.

  • Trade qualification (Fitter or Boilermaker background preferred).

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge.

  • Hands-on approach with a positive, “can-do” attitude.

  • Physically fit and able to regularly lift 20kg+.

  • Proficient with computer systems and Microsoft Office.

  • CPR/First Aid certification desirable.

  • AMPRO software experience is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Current Driver’s Licence

  • Forklift Licence

  • Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening
