Storeperson / Warehouse Operator

About the Role: As a Storeperson / Warehouse Operator, you will be a key part of our operations, involved in a variety of tasks including:

• Receiving and dispatching stock.

• Accurate picking and packing of orders.

• Safely handle and lift gas cylinders (physical fitness is essential).

• Operate forklifts for efficient loading, unloading, and stock movement (forklift license ideal, training provided if needed).

• Interacting politely and effectively with clients and customers as required.

What We're Looking For: We value reliability, a strong work ethic, and a positive, eager-to-learn attitude. While a forklift license is preferred, it's not mandatory as we offer comprehensive training for the right candidate.

• Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of handling gas cylinders and performing heavy lifting.

• Reliability: A strong commitment to being at work every day.

• Driver's Licence + Reliable Transport: Essential for daily commute.

• Communication Skills: Ability to interact politely and communicate well with colleagues and customers.

• Experience: A background in warehouse, yard, or stores is ideal. We will also consider labourers and individuals from various industrial backgrounds who are physically fit and demonstrate a good work history and eagerness to learn.

Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday

• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Remuneration:

• Standard Hourly Rate: $33.50 per hour

• Overtime (over 8 hours or weekends):

  • Time and a half: $46.90 per hour

  • Double time: $60.30 per hour
