Our client, an established company within the Gas Industry is seeking both a Warehouse Storeperson and a Front Counter Sales Person to join the team at their branch located in Portsmith, Cairns.

Warehouse Storeperson Position:

  • Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
  • Casual on-going position offering full-time hours OR a permanent full-time position for the right candidate
  • $33.50 per hour or $65k + Super

Duties:

  • Picking and packing orders
  • Dispatching and receiving stock
  • Completing quality checks on product
  • Manual handling tasks
  • Stock control
  • Forklift operation
  • Assisting customers to load product into vehicles

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in Warehousing or a Yard Hand position
  • LF Ticket
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg
  • Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
  • Able to particpate in a Pre-employment Medical including a Drug and Alcohol Test

Front Counter Position:

  • Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
  • $33.50 per hour
  • Casual ongoing position with full-time hours

Duties:

  • First point of contact for customers entering the branch
  • Assisting customers with product enquiries, pricing and availability
  • Answering phone and email enquiries
  • Processing customer orders
  • Assisting customers with any issues and providing solutions
  • Assisting with stock control and inventory enquries
  • Using SAP program for processing orders, invoicing, stock management and customer enquiries
  • Branch housekeeping as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service, front counter, retail or internal sales
  • Previous experience processing orders, invoices and purchase orders
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build rapport and interact with customers
  • Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
  • Able to particpate in a Pre-employment Medical including a Drug and Alcohol Test
