Assembly Forklift Operators – Mechanical Aptitude Focus

We are currently seeking reliable and mechanically minded Assembly Forklift Operators to join our client’s team at their Port Melbourne warehouse. In this role, you will be hands-on with the assembly and movement of Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs), applying your practical skills, attention to detail, and technical know-how to support smooth daily operations.

Key Details:

• Location: Port Melbourne

• Pay Rate:$37.50 per hour

• Hours: Monday – Friday | 7:30am – 3:30pm

• Employment Type: Ongoing casual positions

• Start Date: Immediate starts available

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply mechanical aptitude to assemble, fit, and adjust components of EGMs

• Safely and effectively operate power tools and hand tools

• Work on the assembly line to ensure efficient production flow

• Operate forklifts to move and position machines (valid license essential)

• Assist with troubleshooting minor mechanical issues during assembly

• Perform general warehouse duties and equipment handling

• Use Microsoft Office for basic reporting and communication

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven ability to use tools and follow technical instructions

• Previous assembly or mechanical fitting experience

• Experience with electronics or machine assembly (highly regarded)

• Physically fit and capable of moving and lifting heavy equipment

• Current and valid forklift license

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Solid warehousing experience with a focus on safety and teamwork
