What is the PALM Scheme?
The PALM Scheme allows eligible Australian employers to hire workers from the Pacific and Timor-Leste to fill low skill to semi-skilled roles for seasonal or long-term placements (up to 4 years).
BLU is approved for both short-term and long-term streams.
We place PALM workers in roles such as:
- Agriculture & Horticulture Labourers
- Meat Processing & Packing Staff
- Warehouse & Cold Chain Operatives
- Hospitality & Housekeeping Staff
- Food Manufacturing Line Workers

In December 2024, when a PALM provider failed to support over 200 workers, the Department of Employment turned to us. BLU stepped in and transitioned every worker to new placements within a week, preserving their income, dignity, and welfare.
