Our client, a renowned wholesaler of exquisite fresh flowers and plant products, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Floral Warehouse Workers to enhance their team at the bustling facility in Sandgate.
Role Overview:
This casual position offers approximately 21 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from Monday to Wednesday, starting at 7 AM. As we move into our peak season, there will be opportunities for increased hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform stock receivals and conduct quality checks on incoming products.
- Prepare fresh flowers for storage and manage cool room inventory.
- Maintain cool room organization, including merchandising and price checking.
- Support order processing by assisting with both incoming and outgoing orders.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards through diligent housekeeping and adherence to WHS protocols.
- Embrace a variety of responsibilities with a proactive and professional attitude.
About You:
- Background in warehousing, fresh produce retail, or wholesale markets is preferred.
- A self-motivated individual who excels in working independently and as part of a team.
- Floristry training or equivalent knowledge, with a keen understanding of floral varieties.
- Strong capabilities in stock counts and stock take tasks.
- A reliable team player with a robust work ethic, ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and prepared to start work at 7 AM.
