Pay:$38/hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour+ shifts (start 6:30–7:00am, may vary)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our Bathurst team. You will play a key role in moving, loading, and preparing timber and building materials for customers, ensuring the yard runs efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate counterbalance forklift to move timber and building materials.

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

  • Strap and secure loads for dispatch.

  • Assist with picking and preparing customer orders.

  • Replenish stock and maintain an organized yard.

  • Perform manual handling of timber products as required.

  • Follow WHS policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Current LF Forklift Licence (essential).

  • Previous experience in timber, building supplies, or heavy materials (highly regarded).

  • Confident handling long, bulky loads.

  • Strong awareness of safety procedures and WHS compliance.

  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.

  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

  • Own transport preferred.
