We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join a well-established manufacturing and distribution business located in the Jandakot / Hammond Park area. This role offers stable Monday–Friday hours, a supportive team environment, and the potential for ongoing employment for the right person.

The Role

In this position, you will be responsible for all-round forklift and warehouse operations, including:

• Operating sit-down, stand-up and/or reach forklifts to move palletised stock such as soil, fertilisers and garden products.

• Loading and unloading trucks, and relocating stock across warehouse, yard and dispatch areas.

• Stacking, unstacking and storing goods safely in racking or yard storage zones.

• Conducting daily pre-starts and reporting mechanical issues or faults.

• Maintaining housekeeping across storage areas, ensuring safe traffic flow and clear aisles.

• Assisting with manual handling tasks when required — pallet building, shrink-wrapping, sorting stock, and supporting dispatch during busy periods.

• Participating in stocktakes, cycle counts and audits as needed.

• Working in line with safety protocols and PPE requirements at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• Current LF Forklift Licence.

• Previous forklift operating experience (preferably in a warehousing, manufacturing or distribution environment).

• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow site procedures.

• Reliable, team-oriented and committed to consistent attendance.

• Willingness to assist with general warehouse duties as required.
