About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Truck Driver (HR Licence) to join a well-established team in Darwin. This is a long-term opportunity for a physically fit and experienced driver who is keen to develop their skills in the gas distribution industry.
The role involves multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders to commercial and residential customers across Darwin and the surrounding regions, as well as general yard duties. Over time, you will be trained to operate a tanker for bulk LPG deliveries to commercial clients and service stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HR truck for multi-drop deliveries across Darwin & surrounding areas
- Deliver gas cylinders to customers in line with safety protocols
- Manual handling: filling, cleaning, and moving cylinders
- General yard and warehouse support as needed
- Learn and transition into operating a tanker vehicle for bulk LPG delivery (full training provided)
Requirements:
- Valid HR Truck Licence (minimum MR licence required)
- Must provide a current Driving History Report
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical (PEM) including Drug & Alcohol testing
- National Police Check required
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Excellent driving skills and safe driving record
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Multi-drop delivery experience highly regarded
