The Opportunity:
Our client is Australia’s largest supplier of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), servicing over 350,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers since 1984 and seeking a safety-conscious, experienced HR Truck Driver for the multi-drop delivery of LPG Gas Cylinders to residential, commercial, and industrial customers across Toowoomba and surrounding regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries of LPG Gas Cylinders
- Operating company delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to road transport and safety regulations.
- Conducting pre-start vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues
- Providing professional customer service during deliveries and maintaining positive client relationships
- Manual handling of LPG Gas Cylinders of varying sizes in line with safe lifting procedures
- Assisting with yard duties including stock organisation, housekeeping, bottle sorting, and general operational support
- Monday to Friday 8hr shifts (Can vary depending on volume)
- $40.02/hr, with penalty rates up to $82.02/hr plus allowances
Requirements to fulfill the role:
- Previous experience in truck driving or multi-drop deliveries in a transport role in built-up, metro, and regional areas
- Valid HR or MR Driver's Licence
- Strong knowledge of Road Safety Regulations and Fatigue Management practices
- Physically fit and healthy, performing manual handling and physical labour tasks in a fast-paced environment, and able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen
- Full “Unrestricted” Working Rights in Australia with residency in close proximity to Toowoomba, QLD.
- Clean National Police Clearance
