HR Truck & Tanker Drivers – LPG Distribution | Lytton QLD

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable drivers to join a well-established LPG distribution operation based in Lytton, QLD. We have opportunities available for both HR Truck Drivers and Tanker Drivers, offering long-term work, excellent pay, and genuine career progression within the gas industry.

• $39.56 – $40.56 per hour (role dependent)
• Ongoing, long-term positions with immediate start available
• Monday to Friday roster
• Early starts between 4:00am – 6:00am

HR Truck Driver – Role Overview

• Multi-drop delivery of gas cylinders across Brisbane and surrounding regions
• Loading and unloading cylinders at customer sites
• Manual handling duties including filling, sorting, cleaning, and general yard work
• Providing professional customer service during deliveries
• Opportunity for training and progression into LPG tanker driving

Tanker Driver – Role Overview

• Safe operation of LPG tanker vehicles for bulk deliveries across Brisbane and surrounding areas
• Delivering LPG to residential, commercial, industrial clients, service stations, and storage facilities
• Loading and unloading tanker deliveries in line with strict safety procedures
• Conducting daily vehicle checks, inspections, and basic maintenance reporting
• Completing delivery paperwork, compliance documentation, and customer records accurately
• General depot and yard duties including housekeeping, stock movement, and bottle management

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Valid HR Truck Licence (essential)
• Previous HR or tanker driving experience (role dependent)
• Multi-drop delivery experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Experience in LPG, fuel, gas, dangerous goods, logistics, or similar industry (highly regarded)

Compliance Requirements

Successful applicants must be able to:

• Pass a pre-employment medical
• Pass Drug & Alcohol testing
• Complete a Police Check
• Provide a clean driving history report
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence (tanker role)
