The Role
You will operate HR waste collection vehicles on scheduled commercial routes throughout Brisbane, collecting and returning waste to depot while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate HR waste collection trucks across Brisbane metro areas
• Complete commercial waste and skip bin collections
• Rear lift or front lift operation (depending on allocation)
• Conduct thorough pre-start and post-start safety checks
• Comply with NHVR driving hours and fatigue management
• Manual handling, including pushing and pulling bins
• Maintain professional conduct when interacting with the public and stakeholders

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Valid HR licence with a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
• Previous waste industry experience highly regarded
• Rear lift truck experience strongly preferred
• Proven commitment to road safety and safe work practices
• Ability to perform physical duties and work long night shifts
• Multidrop experience operating large vehicles
• Brisbane / South-East QLD route knowledge advantageous
• A professional, reliable attitude with strong work ethic
