Junior Project Manager - Switchboards

About the Role
As a Junior Project Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and production teams, building your knowledge of switchboard projects and industry standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and reviewing detailed engineering designs.
- Procuring equipment, ensuring the best product at the best price.
- Monitoring product construction through the factory and liaising with production staff for efficient builds.
- Administering contracts, managing projects, and scheduling tasks.
- Controlling project finances.
- Forecasting and reporting project progress to management.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A White Card
and a Driver's License.
- A Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a relevant Trade Certificate.
- Exposure to switchboard manufacturing or electrical project environments.
- An understanding of the Electrical Safety Act, AS3000:2007, and AS/NZS 61439.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Effective time management and organisational ability.
- Basic knowledge of contract administration and procurement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- A strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- A team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and develop.

The Details
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 38+ hours per week, 8 am – 4 pm.
- Salary:$70,000 - $95,000 per annum.
