Our client is a leading supplier of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, along with related equipment and services across Australia, serving vital sectors like healthcare, manufacturing (welding, cutting, electronics), food & beverage, and oil & gas, providing everything from bulk gases via pipeline to high-purity cylinders, known for extensive distribution, safety focus, and innovation.

An opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual to join our client’s site, conducting chemical testing, analysis, and validation of gases and related products.

What this role means for you:

  • Monday to Friday – 8hr shifts with start and finish times negotiable
  • $34.42/hour, plus 13% Superannuation
  • Regular, ongoing, reliable work
  • Weekly payroll
  • Working with a safety-conscious, proactive, and friendly team

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Conduct chemical testing, analysis, and validation of gases and related products.
  • Perform quality control checks in line with our client’s standards and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and documentation.
  • Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for product or process issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with calibration, maintenance, and validation of laboratory equipment.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and HSE teams as required.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
  • Experience in an industrial laboratory, manufacturing or gas/chemical environment(at least 2 years practical)
  • Strong understanding of quality systems and laboratory procedures
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to follow strict safety and compliance procedures.
  • Ability to manually handle large gas cylinders at times.
  • Able to pass a Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen
  • Must be able to present a clean National Police Clearance
  • Live within 30 minutes of Wetherill Park due to traffic and travel constraints, regular to this area.
  • Full Working Rights with no hourly restrictions
