About the Role
As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by conducting laboratory testing and supporting quality assurance processes. Working closely with production, engineering, and HSE teams, you will help maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and operational performance.

- Flexible start and finish hours
- $40.62/hour plus penalty rates for overtime

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct chemical testing, analysis, and validation of gases and related products.
- Perform quality control checks in accordance with company standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of product and process issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Calibrate, maintain, and validate laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and HSE teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline (medical or biomedical degrees are not required, as this role is not focused on wet chemistry).
- Previous experience in an industrial laboratory, manufacturing, chemical, or gas production environment is highly regarded.
- A strong understanding of laboratory procedures and quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to work safely while following strict compliance and operating procedures.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen
- Able to produce a clean National Police Clearance
- Must have full unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Within 30 minutes of Wetherill Park due to traffic constraints and Fatigue Management
Physical Requirements
This role involves a moderate level of manual handling, including the movement of gas cylinders, and requires the ability to work in an industrial laboratory environment.
