🧪 What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be at the heart of quality and compliance, including:
- Conducting chemical testing, analysis and validation of gases and related products
- Performing quality control checks against company standards and specifications
- Maintaining accurate laboratory records, reports and documentation
- Supporting troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Calibrating, maintaining and validating laboratory equipment
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
- Contributing to continuous improvement across laboratory and production processes
👩🔬 What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
or a related scientific discipline
(Medical/biomedical degrees are not required — this is an industrial laboratory role, not focused on wet chemistry.) - Experience in an industrial laboratory, manufacturing, chemical or gas production environment is highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and quality systems
- Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full unrestricted working rights in Australia
You must also be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening, and National Police Clearance.
