We are seeking a reliable, physically fit, and safety-focused Yard Hand with a current Forklift Licence to join our team in Broadmeadows. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering consistent weekday hours and overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily yard operations, ensuring the safe and efficient loading, unloading, storage, and dispatch of scaffolding equipment.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the yard.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised yard, ensuring equipment is stored correctly for easy access.
• Coordinate stock and equipment placement to maximise yard space and operational efficiency.
• Act as the first point of contact for the yard crew, escalating operational or safety issues to supervisors when required.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding stock levels, operational issues, and resource requirements.
• Assist with planning and preparing equipment for upcoming deliveries and major projects.
• Perform manual handling duties, including the lifting and movement of scaffolding equipment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current Forklift (LF) Licence.
• White Card
• Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to work independently and use initiative.
• A high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual handling and heavy lifting.
• A reliable work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Have full, unrestricted work rights.
• Live within 1/2 hour of Broadmeadows with your own reliable transport.
• Must be able to pass random Drug and Alcohol Screening.
