About the Opportunity
Are you hardworking, reliable and keen to work outdoors? We are seeking a Litter Picker / Spotter to join an established landfill and waste management crew in the Stapylton area. This role offers consistent hours, long‑term work and the chance to be part of a tight‑knit team. Similar roles in the region are currently attracting strong interest on SEEK and related job boards, with pay rates around $36–$37 per hour for waste/labouring duties.
Key Responsibilities

Collecting litter and rubbish across the landfill site, keeping the area safe, clean and efficient

Assisting with general manual labouring tasks as needed

Spotting and directing vehicles, including trucks and heavy plant, to ensure safe movement on site

Maintaining awareness of site safety and supporting team operations
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A current Australian Driver’s Licence

A clear Police Check and Drug & Alcohol (D&A) instant check

Previous general labouring experience is beneficial — similar roles in the area regularly require physically capable candidates comfortable with manual outdoor work

Ability to work independently and show initiative

Strong communication and situational awareness

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
This isn’t office work — you’ll be working outdoors, often in dusty and dirty conditions, so a positive attitude and resilience are key.
