We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Production Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing facility based in Ormeau, QLD. This is an ongoing opportunity with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

About the Role

Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. This role suits someone mechanically minded who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a close-knit team.

Shift Details:

• Afternoon shift: 1:00pm – 9:00pm

• Monday to Friday

• Overtime availability required

Pay Rate:

• $39 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production and manufacturing machinery in line with work instructions

• Set up machines and equipment prior to production runs

• Monitor machinery performance to ensure quality and efficiency

• Conduct basic quality checks and visual inspections

• Identify and report faults or production issues

• Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance

• Maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant work environment at all times

About You

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machinery and processes

• Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented

• Comfortable working in a repetitive, fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Physically capable of manual handling tasks

• Good communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude

• Proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues

• Open to feedback, training, and skill development
