We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Process / Forklift Operator
to join operations at well known gas facility in wetherill park. This position involves a mix of forklift driving and hands-on process work, with approximately 60% of duties involving manual handling and physical tasks. This role suits someone who enjoys being active and working in a fast-paced industrial / warehouse environment.
- Day Shift:
6:30am – 1:00pm
- Afternoon Shift:
1:30pm – 10:00pm
Applicants may be asked to work rotating shifts after training
Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of forklifts to load, unload and move stock
- Assisting with production and cylinder / product processing tasks
- Manual handling of materials and products (approx. 60% of the role)
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Conducting basic quality and safety checks
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Adhering to all site safety and compliance procedures
About You
- Current LF Forklift Licence
– essential
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or process environments
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting and manual work
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable, punctual and able to work rotating shifts
- Team-focused with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to Pass a Police check and medical
