Our client is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join the team to provide Industrial Fabrication Equipment, Gases and PPE, supporting local mining, private, oil and gas industries.

This role is an excellent opportunity to earn above award wages and entails face-to-face and phone sales, computer usage including use of Microsoft applications and SAP, stock management including dispatch and receiving of goods, and safe manual handling of cylinders and heavy equipment.

What this role means for you:

• Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.00 pm
• $50.70/hr plus penalty rates for Overtime and 13% Superannuation

• Weekly payroll

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

• Forklift licence and experience would be beneficial
• Stock control experience with receiving and dispatching
• Computer Literate to accurately and quickly record sales, inventory returns and adjustments and use of SAP program
• Customer Service experience is essential in this role. Must be approachable, friendly and very well presented
• Physically Fit and healthy, where some heavy lifting is required. Will need to pass a full Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen
• National Police Clearance must be clean with no criminal record

PPE Required:

Steel-capped boots, Long Work Pants and long-sleeve high viz work shirt
