About the role:
Seeking an experienced HR Delivery Driver to deliver LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) to customers and clients across Bundaberg and the Greater Region in a Tanker. The role also includes Manual handling tasks of filling and cleaning cylinders and any tasks requiring attention around the yard.
What this means:
- 4-6am start – approximately 8hrs per day, but can be more
- Ongoing Casual rates, plus allowances, plus Superannuation
- Ordinary rate: $40.12/hour
- Overtime rate: $53.50/hour
- Opportunity to be trained up for a Dangerous Goods Licence if not already obtained
Duties of this Role:
- Delivering LPG to customers and clients
- Physically run hoses and connect to certified storage tanks
- Exceptional Customer Service whilst dealing with customers
- Negotiating routes and traffic
- Manually filling gas bottles and some yard work
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- HR Truck Driving Licence
- Multi-drop delivery experience advantageous
- Driving Record must be clean and supplied prior to interview
- Dangerous Goods Licence(Ideally)
- Physically fit – Drug & Alcohol Screening and Pre-Employment Medical required.
- National Police Clearance – Must be free of criminal charges
- Customer Service skills are a must. Face-to-face with customers
- Punctual and reliable time keeping
- Strong work ethic and self-driven as on the road each day.
