Our client, an established company in the Gas industry is seeking a Trades Counter Person for their Branch located in Mackay.

About the Position:

• Casual on-going with full-time hours
• Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm - No weekends!
• Offering $37 per hour
• Small friendly and supportive team
• Loyal customer base and busy branch
• Training and development opportunities

About the Duties:

• First point of contact for customers entering the branch
• Assisting customers with product enquiries, pricing and availability
• Answering phone and email enquiries
• Processing customer orders
• Assisting customers with any issues and providing solutions
• Assisting with stock control and inventory enquries
• Using SAP program for processing orders, invoicing, stock management and customer enquiries
• Branch housekeeping as needed

About You:

• Previous experience in customer service, front counter, retail or internal sales
• Previous experience processing orders, invoices and purchase orders
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport and interact with customers
• Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
• Able to particpate in a Pre-employment Medical including a Drug and Alcohol Test
