We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HR Truck Drivers and Yard Hand / Forklift (LF) Operators for upcoming ongoing roles with a leading LPG Gas company.

TRUCK / HR DRIVER – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Multi-drop LPG cylinder deliveries across Mackay and surrounding regions
• Safe operation of HR/MR vehicles in line with road transport and fatigue regulations
• Conducting pre-start checks and reporting maintenance or safety issues
• Manual handling, loading, unloading, and secure transport of gas cylinders
• Inspecting cylinders for faults, leaks, or damage prior to delivery
• Completing accurate run sheets, delivery documentation, and customer paperwork
• Providing professional customer service at delivery points
• Supporting yard and depot operations during peak periods when required
• Maintaining clean, compliant vehicles and adherence to WHS and dangerous goods procedures
• Working largely autonomously while meeting delivery schedules

YARD HAND / FORKLIFT OPERATOR – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Filling, cleaning, sorting, and preparing gas cylinders for dispatch
• Loading and unloading trucks and cages using forklift (essential)
• Operating production equipment for gas cylinder processing
• Painting, general yard maintenance, and housekeeping duties
• Manual handling of cylinders up to 20kg in a fast-paced environment
• Assisting with stock organisation and depot workflow
• Using SAP systems (training provided)
• Supporting a small, tight-knit team in daily operations

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Valid HR or MR Licence (Drivers)
• Forklift Licence (essential for yard role, highly regarded for drivers)
• Ability to pass PEM medical, drug & alcohol screening, and police check
• Driving history report (drivers)
• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling
• Strong safety mindset and experience in WHS-compliant environments
• Previous experience in transport, logistics, yard, or industrial roles preferred
• Basic computer skills (yard role)
• Experience with dangerous goods highly regarded

• Competitive hourly rates:
• Drivers: $42.50/hr
• Yard/Forklift: $37.13/hr
