We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused Yard Hand & Transport Operator to join our team in the Banyo/Nudgee area.

💪 What You’ll Be Doing

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring accurate paperwork and efficient turnaround.
• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials around the yard.
• Assist with truck movements and maintain safe site traffic flow.
• Prepare and assemble waste bins and operational equipment.
• Conduct site inspections and safety checks using a utility vehicle.
• Keep the yard clean, organised and safe.
• Carry out street sweeping and external site cleaning as required.
• Support airport servicing operations while complying with strict security and safety requirements.
• Run errands and provide general operational support to the Site Supervisor.
• Follow company policies, safety standards and environmental requirements.

💰 What’s In It For You?

$45.63 per hour + Super + Overtime Penalty Rates

🕕 Monday–Friday | 6:00am–3:00pm
🏠 Home every night
💵 Paid weekly

✅ What You’ll Need

• Current HR Driver’s Licence with experience around trucks, including loading/unloading and site traffic coordination.
• Forklift Licence.
• Previous experience in yard hand, labouring, waste management, logistics, transport or recycling environments.
• Proven forklift experience in a fast-paced or industrial setting.
• Experience using basic hand tools and equipment.
• Police Clearance.
• Ability to provide a Driver History Report.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening.
• Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude.
• ASIC for airport servicing duties.
• Full working rights in Australia with no restrictions.
• Live within approximately 30 minutes of Banyo/Nudgee.
