Our client is an operational site focused on waste management and resource recovery services. It is not open to the public and functions as a support hub for their industrial and commercial environmental solutions in the region.

What this role means for you:
- Monday to Friday 6.00am – 3.00pm
- $35.45/hr plus Penalty rates and Superannuation
- Temporary to Permanent opportunity for the right person
Responsibilities of this role:
- Forklift operation in a fast-paced or industrial setting to load, unload, and transport materials safely around the facilities
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Coordinate and manage incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Accurate documentation
- Assist with truck movements within the site
- Assembling and use of hand and power tools
- Conduct routine site inspections and safety assessments using a utility vehicle, identifying and reporting hazards
- Perform general yard maintenance, ensuring a safe and tidy work environment
- Run errands and provide operations support to the Site Supervisor
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Forklift Licence: Current Forklift licence with experience
- Physically fit: Manual Handling, Yard Hand, and Labouring Experience. Able to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
- HR Licence: Experience working with and around trucks, as well as moving around facilities, is required
- Police Clearance: Must be able to provide a clean National Police Clearance
- Driver History Report: Must be able to provide a Driver History Report with minimal infringements
- Tooling: experience using basic hand tools and equipment for general yard duties
- Site Inspections: experience in performing routine inspections
- Strong Communications: Must be able to work closely with truck drivers, supervisors, and team members
- Reside: Live locally to Nudgee with a driver's license and reliable transport.
